Since 2018, I have wanted to implement a fusion center in Randolph County. My dream came to reality in 2024 with the help of the Alamance County Sheriff's Office, Davidson County Sheriff's Office, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security, and the SBI. We also have assistance from The Invictus Project, which is a non-profit organization that helps with funding. The Invictus task force works daily to seek out pedophiles on social media outlets. The day of the white van driving through your neighborhood is slim to none. Predators use their cell phones and computers to seek victims out. They groom and manipulate the victims to gain trust. Many of these children then choose to meet the predator at the location he or she chooses. This is why we decided to take a proactive approach to this crime. The victims will be affected forever if not allowed treatment. 

I am very proud to have this program running in Randolph County. From April until December 2024, our task force made 306 charges. This program is the only one that exists in North Carolina.
