Citizens of Randolph County
Since being elected as your sheriff in 2018, I have worked hard to make Randolph County a safe county. I continue to look for ways to improve our service to 143,000 citizens. Each decision I make during my workday is in the best interest of each one of you. I do not take this job and duty lightly, as so many have before. I go home each day with hopes of being better the following day. With this comes long days of communicating with citizens and searching for solutions to their problems. I will always consider an individual's situation a priority, no matter the significance.
Since that first day, we have made many changes that many of you may be unaware of. To begin with, we implemented a Criminal Interdiction Team that consists of nine members. The team is separated into two different areas of concern. We have one team working the highways of this county seeking out criminal activity. The other team concentrates on county areas with ongoing illegal activity. These teams work together with our vice narcotics section to achieve optimum results.
